It all started with lovely handler kometMUC being frustrated about not being able to call people to their duties during GB EU. He said something like "we would need some kind of pager or intercom".

So his pup Lumo went creative and suggested a DECT phone system. After a little inspiration from Eventphone, an eBay purchase for the first RFP, and a few days later the first prototype was ready.

Between that and what we have now are countless more eBay purchases, hundreds of hours, and a few more grey hair in pup's muzzle.
